The SIM800L is a cheap and portable GSM breakout board with all the capabilities of the larger SIM900 shields. In this Arduino SIM800L tutorial, I will help you get started with this nifty device. Sending and receiving texts with your Arduino have never been easier!

Smallest SIM800L GPRS GSM Module MicroSIM Card Core BOard Quad-band TTL Serial Port.

-Operating voltage: 3.7 ~ 4.2V DC (peak current 2A, please be prepared to handle)

-Module size: 2.2cmx1.8cm
-TTL serial port can be used with a direct link to the microcontroller. No need MAX232
-Power on the module automatically boot automatically search network
-Onboard signal lights (with signal flash slowly, no signal flash quickly)
-The world’s smallest size, absolutely no smaller than this GSM module.

Caution! :
-SIM800 module itself uses input voltage of 3.7V – 4.2V. Therefore, if you directly connect the Vcc pin to Arduino 5V pin, it might damage the module as well. Therefore if you have the SIM800 module itself, you will have to get the input voltage in range, maybe with a LM2596 DC-DC

Package included:
-1X SIM800L GPRS Module
-Antenna
